Indulgence in Death by J.D. Robb

Lieutenant Eve Dallas cannot escape death. On a anniversary trip in Ireland with her husband, Roarke, Eve is drawn into a murder case. Dallas ends up helping the local police. On her return to New York, a strange case is waiting for her. A limo driver is killed with a crossbow. Being the year 2060, a crossbow is a strange and rare weapon. Also the supposed passenger actually had their identity stolen. As Eve is working the case another body is discovered in an amusement park with a bayonet through the heart.

Eve quickly identifies the killers but needs to prove her case. More victims are cropping up and Eve is getting frustrated. This case is really getting to her because it just a game between two rich men. There is no real motive. But with the help of Roarke, Peabody and the usual crew, Eve will get the job done.

Another winner for J.D. Robb. And don't miss the anthology, The Other Side, featuring Eve Dallas. That story picks up right after Indulgence in Death.
