Falling For You by MK Meredith

Having recently moved back to her sleepy hometown of St. Helena, California, comic artist Sage is hoping to save her grandfather’s legacy, the Sentinel, which is the town’s dying newspaper. Her grandfather’s best friend, Banon Edwards I, has hired an L.A. consultant and Banon’s grandson, Parker, to determine the paper’s viability.

Sage’s job is to show him around town and convince him of the importance of the print edition, which, if went online, would destroy everything her grandfather has built. For Parker, this is more than a business decision, as doing a good job would finally earn him his grandfather’s respect.

Although their different agendas create a rocky start, the attraction between Parker and Sage is undeniable. Sage wants to find her happy ever after, but it might not ever happen if Parker can’t see what’s important, or it comes at the expense of her grandfather’s legacy.

Nestled in the heart of Napa Valley, this tiny town vineyard is the brainchild of author Marina Adair, and Meredith (Seducing the Tycoon) has added her own spin with this middling novella. While the brief love scenes are passable with some heat, there is nothing fresh here to make this story stand out.
